I didn’t grow up dreaming about mortgages. I grew up playing lacrosse, and that took me on a full-ride athletic scholarship to Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, where I earned my BS in Mechanical Engineering. I worked the Baja SAE project, interned at Ford Motor Company for two years, then spent time at FCA in data analytics.
I was good at engineering. I just didn’t love it. What I loved was helping people figure out hard problems and walking away knowing it actually mattered to them. So I left corporate and joined Rocket Mortgage. Two years there, three more at Swift Home Loans as a senior broker, and now I’m at West Capital Lending as a Branch Manager — running my own shop, with access to 120+ wholesale lender partners.
The engineering training never went away. It just turned into something more useful: I structure deals like puzzles. What’s the cleanest path? What’s the right product for THIS borrower? Where can we save you money or time? That’s the work. And after thousands of closed loans, I’m pretty good at it.

Every borrower is different. Credit, property, occupancy, loan size, down payment, state — they all change the rate. Anyone quoting you online without those details is selling you, not helping you.
I like driving real value for real people. It feels good to make money while helping someone else make money too. If the deal doesn’t work for both of us, it’s not the right deal.

Off the clock
When I’m not closing deals: golf, hockey, football — and pretty much any reason to be outside. Snowboarding, hiking, fishing, boating. Former high school lacrosse coach. Detroit metro native, Lawrence Tech alum, and a sucker for a good problem to solve. If you ever want to bring me a tough loan scenario over a round of golf, I’m in.
